Five recent haiku, from me to you.
Each morning
The chickadee greets me
As if we’ve just met.
Dog hears
the dinner bell
before it rings
Two boys, one girl.
Each auditioning not to
Be the third wheel
Catching fish in the rain
Then, a double rainbow
And no more bites
For the egret,
Stillness is the lure
That catches the fish
