My First Book of 2024: Freight Train By Donald Crews - Book Review

Freight Train by Donald Crews is one of my favorite books of all time and my first read of 2024. Freight Train was named one of 1979's Caldecott Honor books. It has been included in Anita Silvey's 100 Best Books for Children and the 2012 "Top Children's Picture Books" list by School Library Journal. And it's on my list of favorite reads and rereads ever. Building a Library for Our New Granddaughter

We recently welcomed our new granddaughter to the world. Reading has been an important part of my life and was so important to us as parents.
